The renovated neighborhood center offers facilities for shopping, leisure, and well-being. Its total area is 16.2 thousand sq. m. It also has a museum with a lecture hall. Here the monumental mosaics by famous artist Boris Chernyshev are displayed. They were unique elements of the old building’s exterior and interior design. Conserved and preserved during the reconstruction of the building, well-known works now become a part of the exhibition and receive the attention they deserve. The mosaics capture the beauty of the art form in its full glory. They are an important chapter in understanding how public art reflects the dynamics of ideology and aesthetic visual languages.
