Neighbourhood center A Meeting Place Almaz opens in Moscow’s Donskoy District

Today, the Almaz neighborhood center, part of the Meeting Place chain, opened in Moscow’s Donskoy District. This is the 24th facility launched in the large-scale redevelopment program by developer ADG group. Located at 56 Shabolovka Street, the renovated center covers 5,557 sq. m across three above-ground floors and one underground level.
The revitalized Almaz will become a favorite local spot offering diverse leisure options — dining with family, meeting friends at cafés, working out at a fitness club, attending workshops, and shopping.

The neighbourhood center features:
· Dining: Russian cuisine restaurant Teremok, fast-food chain Tasty, Surf Coffee café, and Bubble Tea
· Shopping: Pyaterochka supermarket, Lisichka dry cleaners, Doctor Glaz optics
· Entertainment: A soon-to-open cultural center with workshops, lectures and clubs, INSPOT gaming club
· Fitness: DDX Fitness club
Designed by architect Amanda Levete, the building meets BREEAM environmental standards. Its glass facade provides natural light, while interiors follow barrier-free accessibility principles. The historic Almaz name was preserved through 3D-scanned sign restoration.
A Meeting Place is ADG group's innovative project creating local community spaces. Two more centers are planned by end of 2025.
