It's a New Year's Eve, and today we have a special gift for the residents of Maryino district in Moscow. This is our 15th neighborhood center, a Meeting Place Ekran, which we're opening today. Built in 1988, it was initially a home for local communities, where many cultural events took place. Soon after the collapse of the Soviet Union, it destined to be in oblivion, visited by residents as a place where they played arcade games. Then it was shut down due to safety concern.
We're happy to say that this day marks an end of the oblivion and starts a new life of reconstructed and enhanced Meeting Place Ekran, which will be once again of the one the favorite spots for the locals. Like any ADG neighborhood center, it has all necessary facilities to enjoy being there with family and friends, collaborating with other members of the community, having a break with close ones or shopping.
A Meeting Place Ekran combines a barrier-free environment with a large glazing area of the facade to make an open, bright and convenient space full of daylight to enjoy winter sunshine during the long New Year's weekend or at any other time of the year. We believe that a reinvented and enhanced Ekran marks a fresh start of the incoming year for the residents and like any other neighborhood center gives them new opportunities to make their everyday life filled with fulfillment, excitement and enjoyment.
